「軽井沢の山荘」が着工しています。KARUIZAWA VILLA UNDER CONSTRUCTION
眺めの良い傾斜地に建つ「軽井沢の山荘」が着工しています。
「最小限住宅」でもあるこの別荘は、限られたスペースを最大限に活用できる空間レイアウトが必要となりました。これらの極限的に切り詰められた立体空間・構造検討をBIM(Building Information Modeling)モデルのシミュレーションにより実現しています。
BIMシュミレーションならではの非標準的な立体空間が、施工を困難にしているように見えました。しかし、伝統的な職人の技術と経験・柔軟性によって、デジタルな3D設計を現実の建物に変換する事を可能にしています。職人技術はより引き立って見えました。
複雑な3Dデジタル設計と伝統的な職人技術の相性が良いことに気づかされた仕事となりました。
Construction has begun on the “Karuizawa Mountain Lodge,” situated on a scenic slope. As a “minimalist house,” this villa required a space layout that maximizes the use of limited space. These extremely streamlined three-dimensional spaces and structural considerations have been realized through simulations of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) model.
The unconventional three-dimensional spaces unique to BIM simulations appeared to make construction challenging. However, the traditional skills, experience, and flexibility of craftsmen have made it possible to transform the digital 3D designs into a real building, highlighting the craftsmanship.
This project has made us realize the compatibility between complex 3D digital designs and traditional craftsmanship.
